Councilmember Place No. 1 (Term 2021-2024)
Councilmember Daren Meis ran for office to help bring real-world business experience to City Council. An Allen resident since 2015, Meis is an advocate for simplifying business processes and creating “smaller, smarter government.”
Meis graduated from the Kansas State University aviation program in 1991 and went on to work as a flight instructor and charter pilot. He now works for a private company which provides online vehicle auction and remarketing services. He is a former board member with the Collin County Conservative Republicans and volunteers flying time with Challenge Air for Kids.
